I am totally intrigued about the process that goes behind making each filigree collection piece designed by Dalia Jewelry. If you have a min or two, watch the video below. It shows the filigree process and how craftsmen, in traditional Javanese workshops, spin webs of silver filigree. These strands are then twined, coiled and individually arranged to create the final design. The entire process, all done by hand, is truly unique and brings to life very elegant jewelry pieces. Dalia describes her pieces "like a tapestry, the different techniques and textures create layers."
Dalia's love for creating jewelry came from her father, Rafael, a master jeweler himself. She was influenced from the young age of 17 and has been designing since.
A jewelry artisan and gem expert, Dalia also works with semi-precious stones and pearls and in addition, specializes in fine custom jewelry.
Below are a few of my other favorite pieces. What I love about each piece is that it's delicate and dainty, but at the same time makes a statement. Each piece exudes femininity and sophistication.
1. fringed filigree ring with pearl
2. tapered filigree ring with rock crystal
1. heavy chain bracelet with mother of pearl
2. square ring with champagne mother of pearl
3. wide band ring with single mother of pearl
