I arrived at the event early to meet with StyleFixx's Senior Style Blogger, the lovely Kara Weymouth - also the girl behind TheBostonista.com. Upon arrival, Kara was sweet to introduce me to some of the emerging designers and vendors at the event.
The highlight had to be meeting the incredibly talented designer, Candice Wu. I attended her show during Boston Fashion Week and have been obsessed with her entire collection since, it's very modern 'rock n' roll'. I even purchased my first piece! I'm so excited about it and cannot wait to style it and show you later this week.
Stella & Dot, another weakness for me, was also there. I purchased a couple of things and I am just waiting for their arrival. Other highlights included: Kara and I having a fun snap taken by Pose Photo Experiences and trying out the new Zico Coconut Water in Chocolate. It is out of this world and seriously tastes like chocolate milk - a must try!!
I decided to end the evening by indulging in some oh so tempting Bad Kat Kupkakes.
I knew that if I didn't bring some of these delicious sweet treats home, I'd be in big trouble - the boy has a wild sweet tooth.
Carol, the creator and baker behind the brand, explained her unique concept of these kupkakes with a kick. With an 'adult' focus, the cupcakes are made with different cordials, even including beer; with choices such as Kissin' the Blarney Stone (chocolate with a mix of Baileys and Guinness), Italian Kiss (vanilla with a blend of Disaronno and Orange) and my absolute favorite Lip Smakin' Merlot (chocolate infused with Merlot), there's a little somethin' for everyone.
I left the event a happy, pampered and shopped out girl, with sweet delights in tow.
Hope you are having a wonderful weekend.
thanks for coming by.
