champagne + denim

Today, I paired this champagne mini with one of my favorite denim shirts. I love the washed-out color and super soft fabric. I added a scarf around my waist and then threw one of my vintage skinny belts over top - I wanted to highlight and draw attention to the waist 

We're moving tomorrow! I'm excited for the new space and neighborhood. Next post will be in a whole new setting. :)

A new blouse. I am obsessed with the color, the silky fabric and somewhat sloppy fit. Instantly I thought of pairing it with these silk pants - you've seen them before here. It's my own little take on the pajama trend this season.

I get a little bit of a retro feel with the tortoise and a total sporty feel with the grey. 

The second style, the Hudson aviators, come in a silver/grey and gold/brown combination and are more retro military inspired.

The boy and I snuck out and took a little packing break to enjoy some gorgeous weather. We've been cooped up amongst piles of boxes, bubble wrap and loads of packing tape all weekend. We're moving to a new apartment next Saturday!! 

Wearing my favorite denim bf shorts with vintage boots and an oversized nautical tee. 

It's the perfect look for a somewhat lazy Sunday.  :)

dreaming in mint

One of my besties (thanks Sara!) had her purchase delivered to me because Zara doesn't ship to Canada. Very sweetly and lucky for me, she told me have a little fun with the dress before shipping it to her. How can a girl resist such an offer?! (you're the best Sara) 

With the heat being almost unbearable these past days, the lightweight pastel dress is perfection!

I added a purple belt and bright neon clutch for more color play.

heat wave

Trying to stay cool - it's in the 90's today! I'm wearing a new full mini. This has to be my favorite silhouette as it accentuates my waist and hips. It's the perfect shape for those  of us who aren't blessed with full curves. :) 

I love the chic white on black color blocking and the fabric has just a touch of sheen which adds some glam.  I paired it with a simple cream lace tee and accessorized with touches of natural leather - I found this toned down the look just enough for the day. 

In other exciting news, I recently wrote a piece for a new online fashion magazine called I Like What You're Wearing. The online mag has a unique edge - you can buy right off the editorial pages. It's an absolute dream! Also, the editorials feature rising designers, so you're bound to stumble upon something new. :)
