About Me

a little bit about me.....

My love for fashion started at a very early age. Like most little girls, my mom would usually find me hiding out in the bottom of her closet trying on her heels, jewels and furs. Anything and everything I wasn’t supposed to touch, I would somehow manage to get my hands on. Even to this day, I usually leave my mom’s house with a treasure or two out of her closet - you’ll see them in and around my blog, I’m sure!

When I graduated from university (I grew up in Canada), I decided to pack my life up and everything I’ve ever known, and move to New York City to pursue a fashion degree from Parsons School of Design.... And that is how it all started.

Today, after almost 10 years in the fashion industry and a diverse background in Public Relations and Marketing, I am a Certified Image Consultant, Founder and President of True You Image Consulting, a fashion writer and of course creator and editor of this personal style and fashion blog.

Every day up to this point has been a dream. I feel so grateful that I get a chance to work with wonderful clients and help make them be the best they can be by positively shaping and discovering their true image.  There is nothing more rewarding than helping someone improve their self confidence and presence - I truly believe there is a lot of power behind discovering your true image.
